Selfish mining 8 years on; do miners mitigate this attack?


In 2013, the paper describing “Selfish Mining” was first published. This paper described a strategy by which a selfish mining pool could increase their share of bitcoin profits with respect to their portion of the network hashpower. The authors suggested a strategy miners could choose to adopt to mitigate this attack:

Specifically, when a miner learns of competing branches of the same length, it should propagate all of them, and choose which one to mine on uniformly at random.

My question is: do most or all Bitcoin miners today do this?
