segregated witness – Are high-s ECDSA signatures forbidden in segwit witnesses?
I should have regarded that up 5 instances by now, however did segwit really forbid high-s ECDSA signatures in witnesses, esp. in commonplace single-sig constructions equivalent to P2SH-P2WPKH or P2WPKH? Or are high-s signatures nonetheless solely non-standard even in segwit inputs?
(I am conscious that the transaction malleability downside as a result of low-s/high-s is mitigated by shifting the signature into the witness, that is not my query.)
