DB Construction for bitcoin blocks

I discovered a library to parse the block information in json format. I need to parse that json and put it right into a db to then use that for calculating balances. Is there any sensible strategy you may suggest me? Im speaking in regards to the db tables and possibly if this is smart? I dont know what the wait instances are for queries when it has to verify hundreds of thousands of strains
